About the Hosts

Adam Kempenaar co-founded Filmspotting in March 2005 and serves as the shows current host. Adam's film taste ranges as wide as they come with films such as Do the Right Thing (Spike Lee) and Midnight Run (Martin Brest) on Filmspotting's covetted pantheon of "greatest" films of all time. Adam started the pantheon to prevent any of these films making it on the weekly Top 5 lists they compile for every show. Adam lives in Chicago IL and is a frequent instructor at the University of Chicago's Graham School teaching classes on several aspects of film. You can follow Adam on Twitter @filmspotting

Josh Larsen joined Filmspotting as a full time co-host in January 2012. Previously he served as a full time film critic for Chicago-based Sun-Times Media. Josh also is an editor of the faith and culture magazine Think Christian. You can follow him on Twitter @LarsenOnFilm.

Michael Phillips is the current film critic at the Chicago Tribune and is a regular guest host on the Filmspotting podcast. He has appeared on TCM, "Charlie Rose" and the famed film review program "At the Movies".

Tasha Robinson was the senior editor at the Dissolve.com and a former editor at The A.V. Club where she wrote about film and television for 13 years. She is a regular guest host on the Filmspotting podcast and many other pop culture discussion shows across the internet.
